One thousand sound Traditions bearing on moral subjects, compiled by SIRÂJ AL-DÎN ÛSHÎ (Abu Muḥammad ‘Alî1 b. ‘Othmân, flourished in the sixth century). Cf. Ḥ. Kh. vi. 345 and iv. 317, and Aumer, Hdss. Münch. 29. This work is an abridgement of the author’s غرر الاخبار. It is divided into a hundred chapters, a list of which is inserted after the preface. Begins: قال العبد ....هذا ما اختصرته من کتاب غرر الاخبار، و درر الاشعار، الذی سبق منی جمعه و تصنیفه، و نظمه و تالیفه، فی عیون الالفاظ الشریفة النبویّة، الهادیة الی مراتب جنّات علیّة، علی حسب ما تمنته الخواطر، و استحسنته النواظر، مقتصرا علی ایراد الف حدیث صحیح، مودعا کلّ عشرة منها فی ضمن باب ملیح.
