Load management in Oracle Databases is something performed manually at CERN currently. The aim of the project is to automate this project using a tool released by Oracle called – Global Data Services. The major objective is to study and provide feedback regarding the functionality, configuration options, usability and performance of the product for automatic distribution of workloads between replicated environments for intelligent workload management across database replicas in Oracle using this tool.
