The note presents the first finding of an alien true bug species Tupiocoris rhododendri in Poland. This species is strictly associated with shrubs from the genus Rhododendron (Ericaceae), commonly cultivated in gardens as ornamental plants due to their brightly coloured flowers. Short description of determination features is given. We also hypothesize T. rhododendri may form stable populations in Poland as it took place in other European countries where it was detected. Additional information about biology and distribution of this species in Europe are also provided.
