Seed Morphology in Key Spanish Grapevine Cultivars

Abstract

Photographs were taken with a camera Nikon D80 of 10,2 megapixels. The seeds were oriented with their chalaza downwards, such as to expose the ribs upwards (ventral orientation) and straight in the middle to provide each seed image a maximum of symmetry. Composed images containing 30 seeds per accession were prepared with Corel Photo Paint
