PIDs 101 - Einführung in die Welt der persistenten Identifiers

Abstract

Diese Einführung in die Welt der persistenten Identifiers (PIDs) beschreibt PIDs, ihre Funktionsweise und warum sie für die Forschungscommunity wichtig sind. Die eindeutige Identifizierung von Forschungsoutput sowie sämtlichen beitragenden Personen und Organisationen durch PIDs, wie DOI, ORCID, ROR stärken Vertrauen und Transparenz in der Forschung. Die Verknüpfungen zwischen den PIDs mit ihren Metadaten und die Interoperabilität ihrer offenen Systeme unterstützen die FAIR Prinzipien. Abschließend beantwortet der Vortrag die Frage: Wie wird man zum PID-Freund?
