Calyria telifera (Walker, 1858a) Cicada telifera Walker 1858a: 26. (Venezuela) REMARKS. This species is distinguished by an abdomen of normal proportions with a less obvious dorsal ridge than found in C. cuna. The mesothorax and anterior abdominal segments are monochromatic. Fore wing width is less than 5.5 mm. DISTRIBUTION. The species was reported from Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela (Metcalf 1963c; Sanborn 2013; 2014a; 2018b). The species has been reported from Callanga (Jacobi 1907) and from the Rio Sondondo (Jacobi 1951). Pogue (1996) reported the species from Tambopata.
