Identificação de visitantes florais em plantio de moringa

Abstract

Os visitantes florais exercem uma função imprescindível para que ocorra a reprodução de plantas com flores. Nesse sentido, objetivou-se identificar visitantes florais nativos. O estudo foi desenvolvido em área de plantio de moringa no município de São José do Bonfim, Sertão Paraibano. Foi realizada a identificação de visitantes florais presentes nas flores da moringa. As observações ocorreram de abril a julho de 2019. O estudo teve como base o início da floração da cultura, onde foram realizadas observações diárias, não consecutivas, no intervalo de 6h:30min às 16h:00min. Para a frequência de visitantes florais, foram considerados como abundantes (A), quando esses apresentaram frequências de visitas iguais ou superiores a 30%; frequentes (F) quando a frequência de visitas foi 10% a 30% e raros (R), quando a frequência foi inferior a 10%. Os dados de precipitação mensal dos seis primeiros meses de 2019 foram obtidos através da Agência Executiva de Gestão das Águas do Estado da Paraíba (AESA).O comportamento dos visitantes florais foi registrado, através de observações diretas, e fotografias. Os visitantes florais foram classificados em polinizadores e pilhadores. O principal polinizador da moringa é a abelha (Apis mellifera) e os polinizadores secundários são as borboletas Theclinae e Danaus gilippus berenice.
