Caracterización y enfoques de la sintaxis y de la oración en la historia gramatical peruana (1832-1923) a partir de la serie textual de Sanmartí

Abstract

En el presente artículo pretendemos ofrecer una interpretación del concepto de sintaxis y de oración en la historia de la gramática peruana durante el siglo que va desde los años treinta del siglo XIX hasta los años veinte del siglo XX. Para ello, concentraremos nuestra investigación en el análisis de la teoría sintáctica en la serie textual del Epítome de gramática castellana (1883-1923) de Primitivo Sanmartí (1840-1933). Se estudia la evolución de los principios sintácticos en la serie textual del Epítome, a la vez que se establece una comparación (a) con la sintaxis expuesta en la serie textual del Compendio (lo que ha permitido estudiar algunas claves del proceso de gradación en el ciclo Epítome-Compendio); y (b) con el pensamiento sintáctico de gramáticos coetáneos que desarrollaron su labor lingüística y pedagógica en Perú a partir de los años treinta siglo XIX, en concreto, Justo de Andrés del Carpio (Compendio, 18362 ), Pedro Moreno Gómez (Gramática, 18723) y Manuel M. Salazar (Gramática, 18738). Esta segunda comparación ha permitido dimensionar, sobre todo en su contexto interno (aunque también en su dimensión externa), la aportación de Sanmartí a la historia gramatical peruana y, por ende, a la historia gramatical hispánica.
