Type locality: Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan Region, in the vicinity of Razino village. Type series: EMAMS. Type host: the Altai zokor, Myospalax myospalax Laxmann, 1773. Host range: A characteristic parasite of the Altai zokor (Senotrusova 1987; Litvinov & Sapegina 2003). Distribution: East Kazakhstan, southwest Siberia, north China (Tenorio 1984; Senotrusova 1987). In Siberia, this species has been recorded from the northern Altai (Litvinov & Sapegina 2003).
