Abstract

Microtrombicula eltoni (Audy, 1956), comb. nov. Eutrombicula (Eltonella) eltoni Audy, 1956c: 33, figs. 1, 2; Audy 1957: 240; Womersley & Audy 1957: 263. Eltonella (Eltonella) eltoni: Vercammen-Grandjean 1965a: 58, pl. C (1–5) (larva), AT (1–4) (nymph); 1965b: 41; 1968b: 69. Ascoschoengastia eltoni: Domrow & Lester 1985: 19. Type deposition. BMNH (not found). Type data. Ex Heterometrus longimanus, Malaysia, Selangor State, Bukit Lagong Forest Reserve. Hosts. ARTHROPODA: Heterometrus longimanus. Distribution. Malaysia. Remarks. I have found only one paratype of this species in the BMNH collection (BMNH 1956.8.21.2).
