The two archive files (.zip) file contain the data sets used for herbarium sheets and microscopy slides segmentation experiments. Each dataset consists of a set of images (JPG). Each image is accompanied by ground truth labels (a png image) and ground truth instances (a png image). The two rich text format files (rtf ) describe the structure of each archive file.
This deposit contains six datasets which were used for testing and validating a semantic segmentation network. The purpose was to evaluate the suitability of the segmentation network for use in the processing of images from Natural History Collections.
