Datasets FakeLarge and CGlarge (previously denoted by the labels A and C) -- i.e., fake data and its CycleGAN-processed variant -- accompanying the paper, "ConvNets for Counting..." by Scott H. Hawley and Andrew C. Morrison. These two subdirectories (A/ and C/) consist of 50,000 512x385 grayscale PNG images and their accompanying CSV files denoting the locations, orientations, and numbers of rings in elliptical clusters intended to "put the SPNet object detector code through its paces" by roughly simulating features present in laser ESPI images of oscillating steelpan drums.
