Abstract

En la actualidad los instrumentos de medición fotométricos utilizados en las experiencias de laboratorio en las universidades tienen precios muy elevados, hasta en algunos casos inaccesibles, tales hechos motivaron al diseño y construcción de un instrumento fotométrico viable. Partiendo de la ley fundamental de Lambert que establece la relación inversa de la distancia entre la fuente de luz y un fotodetector, en este caso un fotómetro, se realizó el diseño y posteriormente la construcción de un dispositivo sensible ante un ujo luminoso. El dispositivo permite detectar la intensidad luminosa y separación de una fuente de luz en cada punto de medida. Los cálculos realizados con este dispositivo fueron vericados y calibrado con un luxómetro digital RS Pro ILM1332A de los cuales estos pueden considerarse como aporte de información ordenada para investigación de iluminación y fotometría. Se desarrolló en Arduino un algoritmo para medir la iluminancia que emite la fuente luminosa plana y medir la distancia que separa al instrumento de dicha fuente luminosa. La diferencia presupuestal entre adquirir luxómetro (RS Pro ILM1332A) y la elaboración de un instrumento de medición equivalente resulta ser 86% menos, observando que es una alternativa económica y práctica. Realizando medidas fotométricas en el intervalo 10 cm a 30 cm de distancia de la fuente luminosa se obtuvo: que el instrumento fabricado tiene un error absoluto de ±10 lux y un error relativo de 0.16% en comparación del RS Pro ILM1332A.
