1. Megarhyssa praecellens (Tosquinet, 1889) Fig. 1 Thalessa praecellens Tosquinet, 1889: 134. Megarhyssa praecellens; Sheng & Sun, 2010: 231; Sheng & Sun, 2014: 308; Yu et al., 2016. Material examined. 1♀, NE China, Liaoning Province, Kuandian County, Daxicha Forest, 7.VII.2015, 40°44′58″N, 125°11′35″E, 455 m altitude, Cao Liang-Ming leg. It was laying eggs in the trunk of a Quercus mongolica tree infested by M. raddei. Hosts. Parasitoid of Cerambycidae (Massicus raddei, Anoplophora glabripennis Motschulsky); and Siricidae (Sirex nitobei Matsumura, Tremex fuscicornis (F.), Urocerus japonicus (Smith)). Distribution. China (Beijing, Fujian, Guizhou, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanghai, Shanxi, Sichuan, Taiwan, Zhejiang), Japan, Korea, Laos, Russia, Vietnam. Remarks. Body length ♀ 43.5 mm (the examined specimen). The first record of M. praecellens parasitizing M. raddei was provided by Sheng & Sun (2010) in list of its hosts. We also report M. raddei as its host based on its oviposition in the trunk of a Q. mongolica tree, which was infested by M. raddei, and on this tree other woodborers can be excluded under our observation. However, there is still no direct evidence, such as an adult M. praecellens reared from a larva of M. raddei.
