The FRStat software is statistical interpretation software for friction ridge skin impression evidence. FRStat utilizes established statistical methods to calculate a statistic summarizing the similarity between feature configurations on two separate images of friction ridge skin impressions. Using this statistic, FRStat calculates the conditional probabilities of a given similarity statistic value or more extreme among datasets of values from mated and non-mated impressions of friction ridge skin.
