Eugynothrips intorquens (Karny) Cryptothrips intorquens Karny, 1912: 145. Described from Java, with the synonym Gynaikothrips liliaceae Moulton (1928b) from Taiwan, this species is also known from Japan, Ryukyu Islands. Specimens examined. Taiwan, Taihoku (Taipei), paratype males and females of Gynaikothrips liliaceae Moulton, from Smilax, 26.ii–vii.1926 (Takahashi); Guanziling, (Tainan), 2 females from Firmiana simplex, v.1993; Shuili (Nantou), 3 females, 1 male from Smilax china, viii.1995.
