Abstract

Idephrynus Bates, 1881 (Fig. 30) Idephrynus Bates, 1881: 160. Type species — Idephrynus scaber Bates, 1881 (monotypy). Diagnosis. Antennae in male almost twice the length of the body. Prothorax subquadrate, with a prominent conical tubercle on each side of middle; pronotum bituberculate. Elytra with centrobasal crest tuberculate; elytral surface with numerous tubercles, arranged in longitudinal rows; outer angle acute. Metatarsomere I two times the length of the two following together. Number of species currently included: 1.
