Foucault + Althusser. Apuntes sobre su recepción en México

This text presents a specific aspect that accompanied the reception of the theorist Michel Foucault. Framed in a relative domain of Marxism as a critical theoretical current, the French underwent the sieve of one of the main aspects of this tradition: that associated with the name of Louis Althusser. A distinguishable line of readers of the Algerian-French philosopher also brought with them Foucauldian grammar, his interests and targets of criticism. Foucault was fully incorporated among those who, within Marxism, preferred Althusser over the humanist or historicist versions.
