Type host: Garrulax affine affine Hodgson [sic] = Trochalopteron affine affine (Blyth). Type locality: Nepal. Type material: Holotype male [slide NHML010670687] deposited in the NHML from the Meinertzhagen collection [4853]. The allotype female and five paratype females are also in the NHML [slide NHML010708838], but the label of this slide reads “ Allotype ♀ / Paratypes ”, without any specimen marked as the allotype.
