Wie stehen Nachfrage, bildungspolitischer Anspruch und die beobachtbare Wirkung zueinander? Die Befunde dazu sowie internationale Fallbeispiele aus der Praxis liefern Hinweise für die zukünftige Gestaltung von Beratungsdienstleistungen. English version After locating the concept of continuing education guidance in European educational policy, this paper examines the question of what guidance can do, in particular for participation in continuing education. What is the relationship between demand, educational policy requirements and the observable effect? The findings on this as well as international case studies from practice provide indications for the future design of guidance services.
