The sensitivity kernels in the Earth’s inner core for PKIKP and PKIIKP waves using the DSM Kernel Suite algorithm and 128 processor cores were calculated. In the calculation process, a database of 725634 strain Green’s tensors was created. It is estimated that the thickness of the sensitivity tube for the PKIKP wave in the upper part of the inner core is about 200 km. It is shown that in the antipode, the inhomogeneities at the base of the outer core have a much greater effect than inhomogeneities in the inner core for the PKIIKP waves travel times under the condition of uniform volume. It was demonstrated that the inhomogeneities of the shear wave velocity in the source region cause stronger oscillations in the fragment of the seismogram containing the PKIIKP wave in the antipode than the inhomogeneities in the upper part of the inner core under the same condition.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
