This paper is an interdisciplinary reflection in the area of modern communicology, on the border of theology and linguistics. The radio forms of spreading the Word of God are submitted for the synchronic and diachronic perspective. The accompanying verbal and relational medium is presented as a transparent agent, creating communication in the service of evangelization. Chosen polish and foreign religious transmissions are mentioned with examples of their reception and scholar study. Various program aspects of Radio Emaus, a catholic radio station in Poznań, are analyzed pointing out the confession, evangelization and preevangelization messages. Ways of preaching the Gospel are presented, realized through communication strategies chosen by the broadcaster – building relations and evangelization. In such context the author addressed the issue of language forms used to create a radio community, that affect the perception of the media coverage and ultimately the reception of the religious content.
