Abstract

Um 12.30 Uhr fand am Mittwoch, d. 09. Dezember 2020 eine weitere Online Veranstaltung der Universitätsbibliothek Hildesheim zum Forschungsdatenmanagement statt. Die Veranstaltung konnte über BBB verfolgt werden. Die Folien von Herrn Prof. Torsten Schrade (Spokesperson NFDI4Culture) sind jetzt nach der Veranstaltung für alle Forscherinnen und Forscher sowie Interessierte öffentlich hier verfügbar. Thema: Forschungsdaten und Forschungsdatenmanagement im Bereich materieller und immaterieller Kulturgüter. Das Konsortium NFDI4Culture im Überblick. Referent: Prof. Torsten Schrade, Fachgebiet Digital Humanities, Mittlere und Neuere Geschichte, Research Software Engineering, Digital Humanities an der Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur Mainz: http://www.adwmainz.de/digitalitaet.html Info: Die Nachhaltigkeit von Forschungsdaten, das Teilen von Forschungsdaten oder Publikationen von Datenbeständen gewinnen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Journals verlangen oft die Verfügbarmachung von Publikationen der zugrundeliegenden Daten eines Artikels. Universitäten, darunter auch die Universität Hildesheim, verabschieden Research Data Policies, und Forscherinnen und Forscher diskutieren sowohl die Chancen als auch die Risiken von "Open Data", die Herausforderungen des Datenschutzes und der Forschungsethik. Annette Strauch von der Universitätsbibliothek Hildesheim gibt einen kurzen Überblick zum Thema Forschungsdatenmanagement. Zusätzlich wird das Dienstleistungsspektrum der Uni-Bibliothek zu den E-Science Unterstützungsangeboten vorgestellt.
