Revisao do gênero Dichelops Spinola, 1837 (Heteroptera,Pentatomidae, Pentatomini)

Abstract

O gênero Dichelops SPINOLA, 1837 é revisado e redefinido com base nos caracteres morfológicos aqui considerados válidos, com especial ênfase à genitália de ambos os sexos e à distribuição geográfica. As quatorze espécies, das quais sete são novas, são incluídas em três subgêneros presentemente propostos. O subgênero tipo inclui D. (D.) avilapiresi sp. n., D. (D.) bicolor DISTANT, 1890, D. (D.) leucostigmus (DALLAS, 1851), D. (D.) miriamae sp. n., D. (D.) nigrum BERGROTH, 1914, D. (D.) peruanus sp. n., D. (D.) pradoi sp. n., D. (D.) punctatus SPINOLA, 1837 e D. (D.) saltensis sp. n. O subgênero Neodichelops subg. n. inclui as espécies D. (N.) furcatus (FABRICIUS, 1775), D. (N.) melacanthus (DALLAS, 1851), D. (N.) phoenix sp. n. e D. (N.) lobatus sp. n. O subgênero Prodichelops subg. n. inclui uma única espécie D. (P.) divisus (WALKER, 1867). Examinamos o material tipo de cinco espécies previamente descritas e colocamos outras duas em "incertae sedis", a saber, D. dimidiatus (HERRICH-SCHAFFER, 1842) e D. furcifrons (AMYOT & SERVILLE, 1843). São, ainda, analisadas as relações filogenéticas dos subgêneros.
