On the checklist of Ukrainian Diptera Tephritoidea: Ulidiidae, Platystomatidae, Pyrgotidae

The species from three families of the higher tephritoid flies hitherto recorded from Ukraine are listed with references. Of them, Ulidia parallela is recorded from Ukraine for the first time, and 3 species (Melieria picta, Physiphora alceae and Platystoma frauenfeldi are recorded for the first time from Kharkiv, Ternopil and Khmelnitsky Regions, correspondingly. Thirty-seven species of picture-winged flies (Ulidiidae), six species of signal flies (Platystomatidae) and one species of pyrgotid flies (Pyrgotidae) are known to occur in Ukraine.
