Le concept de « Santé unique » (One Health, en anglais) suggère que la santé doit être considérée comme une sphère d'action humaine au sein des systèmes homme-environnement. La pandémie de Covid-19 montre notamment que l'homme est intrinsèquement lié à son environnement, qui comprend les animaux sauvages et les animaux domestiques.
