Kompatibilität von KSDF und Gemeinsamem Vokabular als Standard für Repositorienbetreibende

Abstract

Der Kerndatensatz Forschung (KDSF) als ein Standard für die Forschungsberichterstattung beinhaltet mit dem Bereich der Publikationen die Beschreibung einer der wichtigsten Typen von Forschungsergebnissen. Für Publikationstypen als Kernelement der Beschreibung von Publikationen gibt es mit dem in Deutschland etablierten Gemeinsamen Vokabular bereits standardisierte Beschreibungen. Diese sind jedoch zum großen Teil nicht deckungsgleich mit dem KDSF, was u.a. den unterschiedlichen Perspektiven der Betrachtung von Publikationen geschuldet ist. Um dennoch eine gemeinsame Nutzung und Verbreitung der Metadaten zu Publikationen zu erzielen, hat DINI eine gemeinsamen Initiative der drei Arbeitsgruppen (AGs) Elektronisches Publizieren (E-Pub), Forschungsinformationssystem (FIS) und Kompetenzzentrum Interoperable Metadaten (KIM) gegründet. Ziel dieser Initiative ist es, auf eine Kompatibilität von KDSF und Gemeinsamen Vokabular hinzuwirken, damit sowohl eine KDSF-konforme Forschungsberichterstattung als auch der Betrieb von Repositorien mit ihren zugehörigen Ablieferungspflichten (DNB, OpenAIRE) sichergestellt werden können.
