The poster was presented at the 16th RDA Plenary (virtual) between 9 and 11 November 2020. The poster introduces Argos (argos.openaire.eu), OpenAIRE’s service for machine actionable Data Management Plans (DMPs), and presents the steps followed to adopt the RDA DMP Common Standard (https://github.com/RDA-DMP-Common/RDA-DMP-Common-Standard). It starts with providing an overview of the Argos model to later highlight the parts where compliance with the standard is met. As a first step, it shows the outcome of a mapping activity performed between Argos data model and the RDA standard to identify commonalities and differences in their entities and properties. The poster, then, lists the challenges faced throughout the adoption process and explains the actions taken to overcome them. Among other things, new entities were created in the Argos data model and tweaks were made on some functionalities. Moreover, the poster mentions participation at the RDA Hackathon on maDMPs (https://github.com/RDA-DMP-Common/hackathon-2020) and reports activities performed and observations made by the Argos team, aka DMP Ninjas. Finally, the poster informs about preliminary results of Argos integrations with the OpenAIRE ecosystem, particularly in exposing and exploiting DMPs through the OpenAIRE Research Graph (https://graph.openaire.eu/).
