Uso de las tic como herramienta didáctica en la actividad docente en instituciones de educación universitaria

Abstract

La finalidad de la presente investigación consistió en analizar el uso de las TIC como herramienta didáctica en la actividad del docente en instituciones de educación universitaria. El tipo de investigación fue de tipo descriptiva, mientras que el diseño fue de campo, no experimental. La población objeto de estudio estuvo constituida por 122 docentes de los diferentes Programas de Formación de Grado (PFG) de la Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela, sede Falcón. Como instrumento de recolección de datos se utilizó una encuesta tipo cuestionario utilizando la escala de Lickert conformado por 34 proposiciones con cinco alternativas de respuestas, el cual fue validado a través de la técnica de juicio de experto, mientras que con la confiabilidad se realizó a través de una prueba piloto aplicada a un grupo de 18 sujetos utilizándose el Coeficiente de Alpha Cronbach siendo el valor obtenido 0.89. Los datos obtenidos fueron presentados por indicador través de estadísticas descriptivas por medio de frecuencias absolutas y relativas, así como las frecuencias acumuladas y resultados promedios del indicador. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron concluir que los docentes poseen un buen nivel de integración, por lo que se traduce que los docentes hacen un buen uso de las TIC en su actividad como un herramienta didáctica y para finalizar se recomendó que la institución debe promover la participación y organización como prioridad en el empleo y la aplicabilidad de las TIC como herramienta didáctica en las estrategias educativas.
