Abstract

Los seres humanos alcanzamos el éxito cuando aprendemos esos principios fundamentales y los ponemos en práctica (Covey 2000) Eje transversal Ética profundizará el interés de los alumnos y egresados por un planeta más saludable y sostenible. El objetivo del trabajo es proponer un modelo de aprendizaje ético en la educación Superior de Venezuela. Tanto en la dimensión teórica como práctica, pretende dar respuestas y ofrecer vías para la formación de valores en los ámbitos intra y extra universitarios. La propuesta respecto a la necesidad de una formación ética ambiental en la universidad, se ubica en el debate sobre los contenidos de aprendizajes y sobrelos estilos de vida de alumnos y docentes. Formar la ética del carácter es también uno de los campos de interés en el convencimiento de que a lo largo de todos los siglos de la humanidad, el cimiento del éxito está en la ética; en los valores tales como: sustentabilidad, sostenibilidad, biotecnologías, integridad, la fidelidad, el valor, la justicia, el esfuerzo (logro). La ética ambiental enseña que existen principios básicos para vivir efectivamente. En el rediseño de las carreras es imprescindible la inclusión de la ética, ya que el egresado tendrá la misión de ampliar el respeto por la naturaleza con el objeto de mitigar los grandes problemas ecológicos que vive el planeta tierra.
