Abstract

Um 12.30 Uhr fand am Mittwoch, 28. Oktober, eine Online Veranstaltung der Universitätsbibliothek Hildesheim zum Forschungsdatenmanagement statt. Die Veranstaltung konnte über BBB verfolgt werden. Die Folien von Herrn Dr. Johannes Fournier sind nach der Veranstaltung für alle Forscherinnen und Forscher sowie Interessierte öffentlich verfügbar. Referent: Dr. Johannes Fournier (DFG), Programmdirektor Gruppe Wissenschaftliche Literaturversorgungs- und Informationssysteme Thema: Forschungsdaten im digitalen Wandel. Aus der Arbeit der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft Info: Die Nachhaltigkeit von Forschungsdaten, das Teilen von Forschungsdaten oder Publikationen von Datenbeständen gewinnen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Journals verlangen oft die Verfügbarmachung von Publikationen der zugrundeliegenden Daten eines Artikels. Universitäten, darunter auch die Universität Hildesheim, verabschieden Research Data Policies, und Forscherinnen und Forscher diskutieren sowohl die Chancen als auch die Risiken von "Open Data", die Herausforderungen des Datenschutzes und der Forschungsethik. Annette Strauch von der Universitätsbibliothek Hildesheim gibt einen kurzen Überblick zum Thema Forschungsdatenmanagement. Zusätzlich wird das Dienstleistungsspektrum der Uni-Bibliothek zu den E-Science Unterstützungsangeboten vorgestellt.
