EFECTO DEL VOLTEO Y TRANSFERENCIA A LA NACEDORA EN LA INCUBACIÓN ARTIFICIAL DE HUEVOS DE CODORNIZ JAPÓNICA

Abstract

La intención de este estudio fue investigar los efectos de volteo y transferencia a la nacedora en la incubación artificial de huevos de codorniz japónica (Coturnix coturnix japónica) incluyendo peso de transferencia a nacedora, tiempo de transferencia – eclosión, porcentaje de eclosión y muerte embrionaria. Un total de 288 huevos se distribuyeron aleatoriamente en 3 incubadoras (Inc), cada una denominada como tratamiento (Trt) y se expusieron a idénticas características de volteo (frecuencia, ángulo y duración), en contraste a los días de transferencia (13Inc 3, 14Inc2 y 15Inc1). Los resultados demostraron a través de la prueba de Tukey (0,05), grupos heterogéneos al contrastar el peso promedio del huevo en la transferencia a nacedora en cada una de las incubadoras (Inc1 ¨10,94 gr¨, Inc2 ¨10,78 gr¨ e Inc3 ¨11,21 gr¨). Los diferentes días de transferencia manifestaron 3 clases de eclosión; temprana (Inc 2 ¨-24 h¨), a tiempo (Inc 1 ¨0 h¨) y tardía (Inc 3 ¨+24 h¨), esta última registró una ventana de nacimiento de 120 horas, a diferencia de las primeras que registraron 48 horas, respectivamente. El porcentaje de eclosión se observó adecuado con transferencias cercanas a la eclosión (Inc1 ¨90,63¨, Inc2 ¨93,75¨ y Inc3 ¨79,17¨), así como también en número de muertes embrionarias, sin embargo, no se reflejó lo mismo en la última etapa de incubación cuando la reducción del día de transferencia a nacedora (día 13) aumentó la mortalidad embrionaria.
