Abstract

Wissenschaftliche Informationsinfrastrukturangebote benötigen klare Kriterien und Richtlinien, um nachhaltig, interoperabel und zukunftsfähig zu sein. Die Deutsche Initiative für Netzwerkinformation (DINI) fördert durch verschiedene Maßnahmen die Weiterentwicklung des Angebots an Informationsinfrastrukturen und Dienstleistungen an wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen. Ein wichtiges Angebot stellt dabei das von der DINI-AG Elektronisches Publizieren verantwortete DINI-Zertifikat für Open-Access-Publikationsdienste 2019 dar. Es beinhaltet einen weithin beachteten Kriterienkatalog für organisatorische, technische und rechtliche Aspekte beim Betrieb von wissenschaftlichen Repositorien und den darauf aufsetzenden Publikationsdiensten. Dieser Kriterienkatalog hat sich als De-facto-Standard bewährt und wird bei der Neueinrichtung wie auch der Aktualisierung von Publikationsdiensten von wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen herangezogen. Für Hosting-Dienste besteht die Möglichkeit, den Zertifizierungsprozess durch eine Teil-Zertifizierung des Angebots ("DINI-ready“-Status) gehosteter Services zu vereinfachen. Der im Rahmen der Open-Access-Tage 2020 ausgerichtete Workshop bot rund 60 Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, die Vorteile einer Zertifizierung kennenzulernen und eine vertieftes Verständnis des Kriterienkatalogs zu gewinnen.
