This document outlines the plans that NGI Explorers shall put to ensure that the activities and outcomes of the project 1) become significant to a wider range of stakeholders from the research, industry and society; 2) reach a critical mass throughout the lifetime of the initiative to become self-sustained; 3) create novel partnership opportunities, reinforcing Europe's position towards the Next Generation of Internet. The power of effective cooperation will be a key factor in this objective as collaborative efforts are far more likely to succeed when they include systematic alignment of clear and specific goals, sound and fully articulated decision-making structures, and frequent information sharing towards multiple audiences.
