Abstract

Este artigo analisa as proposições legislativas que objetivam quebrar o monopólio partidário sobre a representação política brasileira, em razão da preferência pelo voto personificado em detrimento do voto partidário, permitindo a candidatura independente. O trabalho examina a tendência à rejeição ao monopólio político partidário brasileiro por meio do estudo da evolução temporal da filiação partidária e da preferência partidária nas esferas municipal e federal.
