Doce lecciones del freudomarxismo

Abstract

El freudomarxismo suele ser entendido en dos sentidos. En un sentido amplio, vago y difuso, abarca todos los esfuerzos de síntesis entre el marxismo y el psicoanálisis. En un sentido estricto, por el que aquí optaremos, tan sólo comprende los esfuerzos realizados en la etapa de entre-guerras, entre los años veinte y treinta del siglo XX, cuando se intentó integrar sistemáticamente las corrientes marxista y freudiana bajo un supuesto de profunda afinidad y complementariedad entre ellas. El freudomarxismo en sentido estricto incluye trabajos de autores tan diversos como los grandes marxistas León Trotsky, Antonio Gramsci y José Carlos Mariátegui, los psicoanalistas austro-alemanes Siegfried Bernfeld, Wilhelm Reich y Otto Fenichel, los soviéticos Vera Schmidt y Aleksandr Luria, los frankfurtianos Max Horkheimer y Erich Fromm, los surrealistas André Breton, René Crevel y Tristan Tzara en Francia, Karel Teige en Checoslovaquia o Xavier Abril y Elias Piterbarg en América Latina, los críticos freudianos del marxismo Henri De Man y Max Eastman, y algunos inclasificables como el brasileño Oswald de Andrade, el húngaro Attila József y el francés Jean Audard. Muchos de los exponentes del freudomarxismo han caído ya en el olvido. Sin embargo, como podremos apreciarlo, todos ellos conservan su actualidad y su gran potencialidad subversiva. Es por esto que pueden aún darnos las doce lecciones que resumiremos a continuación.
