Abstract

O poder legislativo do município da cidade Guarulhense é exercido pela câmara municipal, composta por 34 vereadores eleitos democraticamente. Uma pesquisa realizada pelo Tribunal de Contas do Estado de São Paulo -, mapeou os gastos públicos de todas as câmaras paulistas. Infelizmente, a câmara municipal guarulhense ficou entre as mais caras do Brasil, com um custo médio de R$ 97 milhões por ano (JORNAL DA BAND, 2019).
