A series of powders of complex garnets, corresponding to the composition Y3Fe4.40–xAl0.60MnxO12, Y3Fe4.35–xAl0.65MnxO12, Y3Fe4.30–xAl0.70MnxO12 (х = 0.10, 0.15, 0.20) and Y3Fe5O12 were synthesіzed by the method of successive precipitation from aqueous solutions. The temperature regimes of formation of single-phase garnets and sintering of ceramics, the influence of x on the structure of the material, magnetic properties, and microwave characteristics have been established.
