Mechanical Properties and Experimental Analysis of Dry Flower Reinforced Composite

Abstract

This project title mechanical properties analysis of dry flower waste reinforced polymer composite has been conceived having studied the utilization of natural filler in epoxy composites. This study is focused on recycling potential of some waste materials due to the establishments of disposal methods for dry flower powder reinforced plastic. Among various filler, dry flower powder is of particular interest in that its composites have Eco friendly natural, its low cost and ease of availability. Now the project mainly concentrated on reinforcement of polymer plastics with different proportions of dry flower filler powder composites. These composites are subjected to the destructive testing to analyze the mechanical properties. Thermosetting resins, such as Epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, phenol , etc. Are commonly used today in natural fiber composites For this purpose matrix reinforced with dry flower powder were manufactured and characterized mechanically. With filler loading, an increase in tensile modulus but a decrease in of the flexural strength may be due to poor interfacial bonding between filler and matrix.
