Lacan, sus deudas con Althusser y sus descubrimientos en el capitalismo: alienación en el discurso, explotación por el producto y proletarización como síntoma social.

Lacan le debe mucho a Althusser. Fue principalmente por su intervención que el primero pudo refugiarse en la Escuela Normal Superior para continuar ahí su seminario entre 1964 y 1969. Fue también en parte gracias a él que se ganó a muchos de sus más brillantes e influyentes admiradores y seguidores, entonces marxistas y alumnos de Althusser, entre ellos Alain Badiou, Jean-Claude Milner, François Regnault y, especialmente, su futuro yerno y heredero Jacques-Alain Miller. Pero algo más que Lacan recibió de Althusser, y es lo que aquí más nos interesa, es de índole teórica.
