Abstract

Aborda a los videojuegos desde la perspectiva Ergódica propuesta por Espen Aarseth y explora la relación entre "lo que se cuenta" y "lo que no se cuenta" y la manera en que el lector ergódico tiene la capacidad de generar su propia "verdad ficcional" y conocimiento a partir de la interpretación y el "Dasein" el acto de ser y estar ahí. Con el enfoque de que el hablar de videojuegos nos permite explorar los espacios fronterizos en que se vuelven difusos los roles entre receptor e intérprete: el intérprete se transmigra en participante y el participante es capaz de alterar la realidad en la que ha decidido integrarse. Los videojuegos permiten formas de apropiación y reconfiguración de la imagen por parte del receptor y, a la vez, la generación de nuevas imágenes mentales a partir de la interpretación. En los videojuegos se puede cambiar, configurar, reconfigurar, construir y deconstruir la realidad presentada en el relato; enfrentar retos, interrogantes y dilemas éticos; se adquiere la capacidad de elegir el desarrollo de los eventos, enfrentarse a la acción y sus consecuencias, con lo que se enriquece la experiencia, generando una erlebnis: el acto en que mediante la interpretación generamos conocimiento.
