Abstract

The age we are in has built a science disconnected from metaphysics that does not involve modernism, religion and tradition. Islamic Civilization, which has a rich history of science, has been left out of this science scene that does not meet its values. İlhan Kutluer stated that tradition is indispensable for the reconstruction of science in this civilization, because the Quran accepts nature as the manifestation of the right, and aims to transform elements worn down in the historical process and lost their meaning and old vitality into the material of the history of thought. He emphasized that the same attention should be paid to all disciplines today as in the classical Islamic era. This study, which summarizes our tradition of thought that needs to be taken as an example, has a special importance in terms of revealing the elements that are taken into account when building the future. Kutluer, who wanted to wake the Islamic civilization from the sleep of heedlessness, revealed the past in his work named Felsefî Gök Kubbemiz (Our Philosophical Sky Dome) will be examined in our article.

İslam medeniyetini uyuduğu gaflet uykusundan uyandırmak isteyen Kutluer’in geçmişi gün yüzüne çıkardığı Felsefî Gök Kubbemiz adlı eseri yazımızda incelenecektir.
