Abstract

Objetivo: Descrever desafios da assistência de enfermagem às gestantes no sistema prisional e identificar legislações pertinentes ao direito à saúde das gestantes privadas de liberdade. Metodologia: Trata-se de Revisão Integrativa da Literatura, com busca nas bases de dados LILACS, SciELO e BDENF, na modalidade integrada ao Portal Regional da BVS, usando os respectivos descritores: Enfermagem; Gravidez; Prisões; Saúde. Resultados: Foi incluído nesse estudo o total de 13 artigos que apontaram um grande déficit na assistência à saúde da mulher gestante decorrentes de fatores intrínsecos do sistema penitenciário. Considerações Finais: O enfermeiro é inteiramente conectado à atenção pré-natal, porém no âmbito prisional suas atribuições se tornam limitadas devido a precária situação que os presídios se encontram, indo em contramão com o que é previsto.
