Sistem Monitoring Kualitas Produksi PT. XYZ Berbasis Internet of Things

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan elektronika terbesar didunia yang berpusat di Osaka, Jepang, salah satu cabang nya terletak di Indonesia. Sampai pada tahun fiskal 2019 khususnya bulan Mei 2019, PT XYZ masih memiliki kualitas hasil dibawah nilai batas kontrol terendah yakni dibawah 76% dengan total 7.2% dari nilai rata-rata 86.8% dengan standar deviasi 10.8%. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dibutuhkan sistem berbasis Internet of Things untuk pemantauan mesin pada produksi PT. XYZ yang mempunyai model dan kapasitas mesin yang berbeda-beda serta spesifikasi yang berbeda, sistem ini dibuat agar dapat mengurangi variasi produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, yaitu dengan mewawancara Subject Matter Expert yang kemudian dikaji dengan studi literatur dan dengan teknik data mining untuk simulasi kejadian sebelum dan setelahnya. Rancangan sistem ini juga dapat mempermudah analisis permasalahan yang terjadi apabila rasio kualitas turun secara tiba-tiba karena sistem realtime yang terekam otomatis dari mesin membuat analis dapat melakukan analisis failure rate dengan mencari sebab-akibat berkesinambungan yang terjadi pada mesin tersebut secara aktual dan terpercaya dibanding rekam jejak yang di input manual oleh manusia yang sering kali terjadi cheating. Target hasil dari penelitian ini yakni dengan dampak berkurangnya variasi proses produksi dibawah 76% failure rate kualitas produksi di PT. XYZ. Dan kualitas produksi dapat tercapai sesuai rancangan Business Plan dan Forecast yang telah disepakati sebelumnya.
