Due to the widespread effects of Covid-19, there are a number of resilience practitioners who are responding on the front-lines of the epidemic in healthcare, aviation, disaster relief, law enforcement and other disciplines. To promote widespread sharing to case studies, emergent best practices and adaptive strategies the Resilience Engineering Association arrange a bi-weekly webinar series to share -in real time- methods of coping. This document summarizes a webinar, were panelist explore insights through HRO and RE lenses, considering impacts of discounting, transparency, anticipating, building flexible systems, dealing with uncertainty, monitoring and responding strongly to weak signals and how these contributed to the capabilities of society to act and respond when dealing with crisis.
