Rhyacophila nigrocephala sub-group Diagnosis The Rhyacophila nigrocephala sub-group can be diagnosed by the combinations of following characters: (1) none of the apical segments of the inferior appendages is incised; (2) parameres absent; (3) basal segments of inferior appendages fused basomesally.
