Datasets include: Dissolved organic carbon concentrations The percent of dissolve organic matter composed of polyphenols Porewater sugar concentrations Sediment oxygen concentrations Sediment incubation results Data was connected primarily from underneath a seagrass meadow in SantAndra Bay, Elba, Italy (42.808304,10.142891). However, additional sugar concentrations are also obtained from seagrass meadows in Belize and Germany. for exploring the concentrations of sugars, dissolve organic carbon, oxygen and polyphenols occurring in sediments inside and surrounding a Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadow in SantAndra Bay, Italy.
