Recomendações para as Bibliotecas do Ensino Superior de Portugal 2020-2022: apresentação e discussão pública

Abstract

Apresentação no webinar do Grupo de Trabalho das Bibliotecas do Ensino Superior da Associação de Bibliotecários, Arquivistas e Documentalistas, para primeira apresentação pública das Recomendações para as BES de Portugal. No final de 2015 o Grupo de Trabalho das Bibliotecas do Ensino Superior da BAD elaborou e disseminou as primeiras Recomendações para as Bibliotecas do Ensino Superior de Portugal. O contexto das bibliotecas evoluiu e foi necessário refletir aprofundadamente sobre as áreas chave do trabalho destas bibliotecas. Em 2020 são visíveis transformações e a necessidade de adaptação das bibliotecas a mudança que emerge no ensino superior, nas tecnologias e nas formas de comunicação e partilha da informação, no suporte ao utilizador e nas diversas áreas de apoio ao ensino e à investigação. Assim, foram desenhadas doze Recomendações, agregadas em torno de quatro eixos fundamentais no trabalho das bibliotecas de Ensino Superior: Apoio ao Ensino e à Aprendizagem, Apoio à Investigação, Desenvolvimento Profissional e Organizacional, Redes, Cultura e Património. A consolidação da versão final das Recomendações para 2020-2022 decorre da integração dos contributos recolhidos em várias sessões de trabalho, que agora se apresentam pela primeira vez a público procurando obter mais feedback da comunidade de profissionais das BES.
