Superfamily Ophionereidoidea Ljungman, 1867 Diagnosis Disc with numerous thin scales and few plates, partially covered by scales, indistinct primary plates, no granules or spines. Large spine articulations not sunken in depressions of distal plate edge. Lateral arm plates with a band of more finely meshed stereom only in the central part of the outer proximal edge.
