ČER ČNG ČRK IFR KHR KYI LWI ZAK [Chernay 1854: 245; Nowicki 1858: 16; 1864: 37; 1865: 37; Lindeman 1871: 198; Nowicki 1873: 36; Łomnicki 1884: 32; Penecke 1928: 374; Shapiro 1930: 143; Kryshtal 1959: 78; Levchinskaya & Sereda 1978: 75; Mazur 2002: 227]. Distribution. Palaearctic (excluding south) (Caldara 2013a) Material examined. Kharkiv Prov.: 1 spec. (KUMN) 7 km S Zmiiv, Gaidary, on Salix sp., Solodovnikova leg., 9.vii.1971; 1 spec. (KUMN) ca. 15 km SWW Zachepylivka, env. of Kolpakovka, sweeping, marsh, Yu. Guglya leg., 18.vii.2009 Biology. Forests, shrublands, gardens. Adults occur in VII–VIII. On Betulaceae (Alnus spp., Alnus glutinosa, A. incana, Betula pendula; Betula spp.), Rosaceae (Cerasus spp., Prunus domestica, P. spinosa), Quercus sp p. (Fagaceae), Salix spp. (Salicaceae) (Ter-Minasian 1956; Dieckmann 1988)
